The making of the studio began with a vision of a space to create recordings for online learning. Starting small with our DIY project, we added acoustic tiles to a windowless room and gathered the necessary equipment. With a computer, a decent quality microphone, a webcam, an interactive pen display, screen capture software, and faculty who had the courage to try something new, we embarked on a new journey. We started small with small wins, building confidence to take on new challenges. Support is key. Faculty appreciate having someone who can make suggestions, help them get started, and be a co-pilot until they are comfortable flying solo.
